Mrs. Henrietta Daniel, R. Ph., MS General Secretary, Bureau of Overseas Supply Of The Women's Home and Overseas Missionary Society Of The African Episcopal Zion Church Mrs. Henrietta Daniel is a Registered Pharmacist (Texas Southern University, 1968) with a Master of Science in Health Care Administration (Texas Woman's University 1983). During her 25 years of service at the VA where she is a staff Pharmacist, she has also worked as the Voluntary Service Officer and Federal Women's Program Manager (300 plus employees). Her thirty-six years in the Pharmacy Profession includes working as a Retail Pharmacy Manager, Community Hospital Pharmacy Director and Pharmacy Consultant.
In addition to service as the General Secretary, Bureau of Overseas Supply WHOM Society, Mrs. Daniel is an active member of the AME Zion Church in the Texas Conference. In that regard, she serves as the Houston District President and has served in the following capacities: Local President, Houston District Secretary of Young Women, Texas Conference Director, Young Adult Christian Education, Youth Class Leader, Workshop Presenter. She is a member of many organizations. Among them, a Life Matron, AME Zion Minister's Spouses and Widowers Fellowship, World Federation of Methodist and Uniting Women, Church Women United, National Council of Negro Women, American Society of Consultant Pharmacist, Texas Society of Health Pharmacist, Houston Pharmaceutical Association and the National Pharmacy Association.
Henrietta has received many awards and honors for outstanding leadership. Among them are the National Women of Achievement, Diamond Key Award, Outstanding Outreach Ministry to the Homeless and Needy, Department of Veteran's Affairs, Caught Caring Award for outstanding customer service 2001 and 2002.
She is married to Reverend Donald F. Daniel, Sr., Pastor of Walls Chapel AME Zion Church Houston, TX.
