The Woman's Home And Overseas Missionary Society is the oldest lay organization in the A.M.E. Zion Church. It is an International organization of more than 800,000 members in the Continental U.S. and on the continents of Africa, Europe, Asia, and South America, as well as the Caribbean Islands. The overall purpose of the Society is expressed through the MOTTO, "The World for Christ" and the Theme Song, "Lift Him Up."
The WH&OM Society is comprised of six departments that provide mission development for all age levels of the membership.
